From 1951 to 1955, his career is intimately linked to his nearly weekly publishing in the sports journal Le Miroir des Sports, in which he dislays portraits of more than 250 athletes of all nationalities and horizons, accompanied with texts written by his journalist friends.

En 1951, il travaille aussi pour la concurrence, en produisant pendant plusieurs semaines les unes de l'Equipe Junior. Il est désormais un des seuls en France à dessiner des sportifs de manière non caricaturale, contrairement à Pellos, Déro, ou autre Siro.
In 1951, he also works for competitiors by producing front pages in l’Equipe Junior for a few weeks. From thereon, he is one of the only artist in France to represent sportsmen as they are in reality and not as caricatures, as Pellos, Déro or Siro do.
